She told me that her Dad was loaded

I took her to a supermarket I don’t know why
But I had to start it somewhere So it started there

She just laughed and said

But she didn’t understand
She just smiled and held my hand

Lei veniva dalla Grecia, aveva sete di conoscenza

E’ là che mi ha messo gli occhi addosso
Mi disse che suo padre era ricco sfondato

E dopo trenta secondi disse

Dissi “vedrò quello che posso fare”
La portai in un supermercato, non so perché

Lei si mise a ridere e disse
“Oh, sei così divertente”, io dissi “Davvero?
Beh, non vedo nessun’altro ridere qui

Ma lei non capiva
Sorrideva e basta e mi teneva per mano
